Fenton Red Iridescent Keepsake Box
Like a captured sunset, this Fenton keepsake box glows with layers of ruby, gold, violet, and green — that unmistakable iridescence only Fenton could achieve. Handcrafted in the 1970s by the famed American glassmaker, this heavy, luminous box reflects a long tradition of artistry and innovation that made Fenton a household name in collectible glass.
Each piece was hand-iridized, a delicate process where molten glass was treated with metallic salts to create a surface that shimmers like oil on water. The result is a living spectrum of color — ever-changing, timeless, and completely unique to each casting.
The curved lid features a flowing scroll finial that feels almost sculptural, while the smooth oval bowl beneath offers a subtle elegance. Together they make a striking accent for a vanity, console, or glass cabinet — perfect for holding jewelry, keepsakes, or nothing at all but light.
Marked on both lid and base with the raised Fenton logo. Excellent condition throughout.
